Esta noticia no la podíamos creer hasta que la propia banda lo acaba de confirmar. Estamos totalmente debastados. Esto no es ninguna broma del día de los Santo Inocentes. Ojala lo fuera.

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we tell you of the passing today of Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan. Jimmy was not only one of the world's best drummers, but more importantly he was our best friend and brother. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jimmy's family and we hope that you will respect their privacy during this difficult time.

Jimmy you are forever in our hearts.

- 28/12/09 OC Register ha actualizado diciendo a partir de hoy la autopsia está pendiente en la muerte de The Rev.
- 28/12/09 6:15 PM PST FOX KTTV 11 en Los Angeles informa que la autopsia de la Rev se ha vuelto concluyente. Además, el manager del grupo, Larry Jacobson conversa con FOX 11 también. Lea el artículo completo aquí.

Huntington Beach - El martes la autopsia del baterista Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan de Avenged Sevenfold fue concluyente en cuanto a la causa de muerte de un músico de 28 años. La oficina del forense del Condado de Orange ordenó "la toxicología, la microscópica y las pruebas de laboratorio" para ayudar a determinar por qué Sullivan murió, según Jim Amormino, un portavoz de la Sheriff's oficina del forense. Es probable que pasen semanas para obtener los resultados de esas pruebas, dijeron las autoridades.
